Do you find yourself repeating the same patterns?
Many people arrive in therapy after years of trying to manage things on their own.
Seeking help is the first step.
Together we’ll look at how past experiences shaped your beliefs, emotional responses, and relationships.
Patterns can feel deeply ingrained, but they aren’t permanent.
You may find yourself choosing partners who recreate familiar dynamics or feeling exhausted over long ago trauma.
These patterns are not flaws. They are adaptations that once helped you cope.
After therapy, my clients report more stability, healthier relationships, and joy returning.
My Therapy Specialties
-
My work with couples is grounded in both professional training and real life relationship experience. I have spent decades helping partners rebuild connection and trust.
-
Complex trauma shows up quietly but persistently. My work focuses on relieving the pain of psychological trauma while helping you strengthen your sense of self and build healthier relationships.
-
Attachment patterns develop early in life and often shape how we relate to others as adults. Together, we shift these beliefs and behaviors to help keep those patterns from repeating.
Go From Survival To Stability
Reshape how you feel, think, and relate to others.
Nancy Willinger, PsyD, LMFT
Hi there! I’m Nancy.
I have spent three decades helping people work through attachment, trauma, and relationship patterns.
Clients often describe me as easy to talk to. This work can be challenging, but there is often room for laughter along the way.
My approach integrates several therapeutic frameworks that help people understand both the emotional roots of their struggles and practical ways to move forward.
Outside of therapy I enjoy hiking around Los Angeles, playing pickleball, and spending time with my husband, children, and friends.
